Feeling Grey

Do you ever feel like a color?

Today, the weather is rainy and perfect for curling up in bed, playing classical music and reading poetry. I normally revel in weather that provides such an opportunity, but today I find myself sharing sympathies with the porous clouds and lowly settled fog.

Denver Days

Two days ago, luck found me traveling halfway across the country. I write this while sitting in my best friend's new home in Aurora, CO (pictured below). About three weeks ago she happily married the love of her life, and I anxiously began searching for plane tickets.

For the past few days, our daily routines have remained basically the same - trips for frozen yogurt or ice cream, working on our MacBooks at coffee shops, watching Netflix, and shopping.

I got vanilla bean, cake batter, and coffee yogurt with coconut, Andes mints, and cookie dough toppings.

Southlands is a fairytale outdoor shopping center that we have visited a few times so far.

Caribou Coffee is the one rival competitor with Starbucks in Colorado worth going to.
